If you want to get philosophical about it you could say it’s a tale of light and dark or sanity vs. madness, but really, I wore two different colored shirts.

During my earlier years of guitar playing I gravitated towards the work of Randy Rhoads. Although musical taste is an ever-evolving experience, this song remained among my list of favorites. For some time, I’ve been carrying the idea to strip this song down to its most basic form, a sort of challenge to truly understanding the dynamics of a composition.

Performing this piece has been a lesson on how composition can become a narrative and ultimately to me, reveal the timelessness of a masterpiece.

The idea manifests itself in a duet. If you want to get philosophical about it you could say it’s a tale of light and dark or sanity vs. madness, but really, I wore two different colored shirts.

I’m proud to have finally completed this one. Enjoy!
